COVID-19: Community Operational Updates

April 06, 2020

We hope you are doing well and staying safe. As the provider of your shelter, we take this responsibility seriously especially at a time like this, and we are working with our teams to do the very best to help slow the spread of the coronavirus while serving your needs.

Just like everyone else, we are dealing with the changing climate day by day. Because things are changing quickly, we wanted to update you on changes we have made at our community to not only comply with state and local government orders but to help keep our residents and employees safe.

Operational Changes We’ve Previously Communicated:

Business office

• To comply with the social distancing mandates, we are no longer accepting walk-in services until further notice. Our office hours remain the same and our team is here to answer your inquiries by phone, email, or through our resident portal.

Package deliveries

• When your packages arrive, we will contact you by phone and email to arrange a time for the package to be picked up outside the business office. • If possible, we would deliver the package to your residence. • If your property has a package locker, those will continue to operate

Work orders

We have suspended non-essential work orders and the following will continue to be performed at residents’ request: • Non-operational heating • Any life or safety item such as a non-functioning smoke detector, gas leak or broken window • Plumbing backup such that the sink, toilet or shower/bathtub does not drain • Water leaking outside of a sink or shower • Faulty electrical • Non-operational stove or refrigerator

New Operational Changes We’ve Put In Place

Leasing

• We have limited leasing activities to by-phone and online only

Vendors

• We have required our vendors to observe social distancing and communicate to us regarding any coronavirus-related symptoms from their employees

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we get through this challenging time together. We will continue to keep you updated on our efforts in keeping you and your fellow residents safe.
